Got the cheapest room, and got what I paid for, dirty room, Ants everywhere and no blanket. Been to nicer places for cheaper! But I guess it’s my fault for no reading more reviews :(
We stayed here for 8 nights and mostly had breakfast at the hotel. The location is great, really close to the beach, and the AC worked really well. The pool was nice, and the staff were super kind and helpful you can tell it’s a family-run place. The rooms are a bit old and the shower isn’t great, but I’d still stay here again.
My fiance and I just LOVED it here! We stayed for 5 nights in February. it was such an amazing price, the view of the pool is fantastic. But the best part was the service. We loved the mother and daughter duo and they were both so kind and welcoming, really felt like we were part of the family! The daughter also speaks fantastic English, which was not expected my any means but it certainly was a nice bonus. Rooms were cleaned often and the food at the restaurant was so delicious. The AC in the rooms were also the best we had in Thailand. We stayed at many different hotels in Thailand but Rattana is for sure our favorite. Can’t wait to be back :)
Not many hotels like this left. Good old thai style. They offer a decent price with a very good location. The garden is a wonderful lagoon, with the pool as a center. At the restaurant they make really good food for all meals of the day. Short distance up to the street, and trough a small alley down to the beach. The rooms. They are really old style thai rooms. Very dark rooms. The bed is old and not good. Did not sleep well here. And finaly thats the most important when booking a room for the holiday. A good night sleep. The shower has very weak presure. Staff is fantastic!
I had such an amazing time at the Rattana! Such a lovely, warm welcome by the friendly attentive staff when I arrived. And that continued through my stay The place itself is beautiful. Tranquil and serene. Perfect for couples or solo travellers. And well located if you want a more lively evening on the strip I suggest you try the food at the guest house too. We'll prepared with fresh produce and very reasonably priced Another positive is you are located about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Ideal! I honestly would give Rattana 10 stars if I could. And I would definitely without hesitation stay here again 🙏🇨🇷
