Stayed here for honeymoon and it was perfect. One year later we’re here again for our holiday. The hotel is new and decently located. The walk to the beach takes about 5 minutes. Breakfast buffet is not very varied but has everything you need. Good housekeeping, rooms are cleaned daily. Staff is really nice and sweet. Overall we really enjoyed our staying here both times.
Very nice hotel, rooms are clean and spacious (stayed in superior twin suite) workers are very friendly and kind. Location is good with there being multiple 7-elevens. Beach is close by and is also nice. Overall a very nice stay and would stay again!
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Centara Life Lamai Resort Samui. The location is perfect – tucked away in a quiet spot just off the main Lamai strip, yet only a 5-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and everything Lamai has to offer. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay, always friendly, welcoming and genuinely eager to help. A special thank you to Jimmy, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly valued as guests. The rooms were clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The whole resort offers a relaxed atmosphere and provides everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Koh Samui. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great location, exceptional service and outstanding value in Lamai. 5 stars all round. Centara Life Resort was a fantastic place to stay, and I would definitely book here again. The location is excellent, especially if you’re training at Lamai Muay Thai, and despite being close to bars, pubs, and other nightlife, the resort remains surprisingly quiet at night, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The rooms are large, spacious, and comfortable, with equally spacious bathrooms. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, and the daily housekeeping service did a great job keeping the rooms clean and tidy. The breakfast was good value for the price, with plenty of options to start the day. The gym was also a pleasant surprise, with quality equipment and enough variety for a solid workout. One thing I’d recommend is bringing mosquito spray, as there can be quite a few mosquitoes around the property, particularly during the evenings. I didn’t use the swimming pool during my stay as it seemed to be heavily chlorinated, but it was well-maintained and looked clean. Overall, Centara Life Resort offers great value, comfortable accommodation, excellent facilities, and a fantastic location. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Lamai. Would definitely be perfect for families
I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, and overall my experience was excellent until my check-out this morning at 5:00 AM. As I was in a hurry to catch a ferry, I went to the reception desk for check-out. The receptionist clearly saw me waiting but did not greet me or acknowledge my presence. Instead, she continued tying her hair, went to wash her hands, and appeared more focused on a YouTube video that was playing than on assisting a guest. In addition, her facial expression and attitude appeared unfriendly and unwelcoming, which is disappointing for a front-desk position. After such a pleasant 6-night stay, this interaction unfortunately left a negative final impression. I understand that staff members can have difficult or tiring shifts, but reception staff represent the first and last impression of a hotel. I hope management will review this matter and ensure that customer service standards remain consistent, as employees in guest-facing roles should demonstrate professionalism and a genuine service mindset. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but this experience significantly affected my final impression of the hotel.
