If you’re looking for a truly special place to stay on Koh Samui, this is it. Panya Resort is, without exaggeration, the best place I’ve found – and I’ve been coming back here for years. The villas and apartments are beautiful, set in a lush tropical garden that is lovingly cared for every single day. What makes it even more special is the sense of privacy – thanks to the trees and flowers, each space feels like your own little sanctuary. There’s also a cozy café on-site serving what I honestly believe is the best coffee in the area – not just for guests, but for anyone who stops by. They also offer delicious breakfasts and meals, so you don’t even have to leave if you don’t want to. The entire resort has a warm, family-like atmosphere that’s hard to describe but easy to feel. The owners and staff genuinely care – they’re kind, attentive, and always make you feel welcome. From airport transfers to anything you might need during your stay, they take care of everything seamlessly. There are two swimming pools in the resort, and some villas even come with a private pool, which is an amazing bonus. The property has been recently renovated, so whether you’re looking for something cozy or more luxurious, you’ll find the perfect fit. The location is another big advantage – the beach, restaurants, shops, and pharmacies are all within walking distance. Plus, having car and scooter rental directly on-site makes everything even more convenient. And a great bonus is the on-site laundry self-service, which makes longer stays much easier and more comfortable. This place isn’t just accommodation – it’s an experience you’ll want to come back to again and again. ❤️
We stayed with our family in a villa with a pool in March, specifically Villa No. 3. We were very satisfied with the accommodation. We didn’t really know what to expect, because there are not many photos of the accommodation available online. It was listed as a 3-bedroom villa. In reality, it consists of a main house with a combined living room and kitchen, from which you can access the terrace with the pool through large glass doors. In the main house there is one bedroom with a double bed and a modern bathroom. The second bedroom is located in the adjacent villa, which is entered through the terrace. There is also a spacious bedroom with a bathroom there. Since we were traveling with small children, we couldn’t leave them alone in the second villa, so in the end we only used the main villa. The resort kindly provided a baby crib for our son, and our daughter slept on the couch. I believe that for a group with multiple adults or older children, this layout would be very convenient, because everyone can have their own privacy. The house was sufficiently equipped. There was plenty of storage space, a TV, refrigerator, freezer, stove, kettle, microwave, toaster, basic kitchen equipment, drying racks for laundry, and a hairdryer. There is air conditioning in every room. The space was very clean, and during the month we stayed there, the house was regularly cleaned. They also replenished toilet paper and bottled water. The pool was cleaned regularly as well, and the water temperature was very pleasant. In my opinion, the biggest advantage of this resort is that it is located in private area, and there are beautiful tropical plants and trees planted everywhere, which are regularly maintained. In resort is a laundry room and a café/restaurant, where serve the best coffee in the area. They also offer tasty breakfasts and a few meals. All the staff were very kind and helpful. They arranged our airport transfers and they have cars/scooters for rent. The location is also excellent. It is quiet, yet only a few steps from the center of Choeng Mon. The beach is about 8–10 minutes walking distance from the accommodation. Within the resort there is also a large apartment building with a pool, as well as many other separate bungalows with or without a pool. It’s a real pity that there is so little information available about the accommodation options in this resort. Hopefully this review will help at least a little.
