Terrible place - resort is old, huge and impersonal. I know it’s low season but apart from the wonderful housekeeping staff no one else working here could care any less! The location is away from everything else unless you have a motorbike or get taxis, the beach is nice but is completely taken over by people hoarding the sun loungers and nothing is done about it. Breakfast is really basic and the same every day, and you have to walk across to the next property for it. Good pool but so many unruly kids I didn’t swim much. If you have a young family and don’t mind kids being allowed to run havoc everywhere, you may like it 😂 The best part about staying here are the businesses outside of the resort! Would not stay again
We had a great experience in this resort, the staff was very friendly and our room very clean. We found the place very calm and relaxing. There’s a swimming pool and a private beach, you can walk along the beach to get to Central Samui. I would recommend ! The only negative point is that during high season you have to battle with other tourists to get a seat on the beach or near the swimming pool, people leave their stuff out there all day, not allowing other people to make the most of it..
I am not one to give bad reviews but I would hate for anyone else to have the same experience we did. We booked through booking.com As you walk in the resort is a little tired and in need of an update but clean and tidy. We checked in and a staff member took some of our bags, and led us to our room. We were quite surprised when he led us out through the carpark, past the other rooms and to a building entirely seperate (think- fenced off and a road between them seperate). We were taken up to our room which was awful. There was a strange almost bleach smell throughout that did not go away. There was a balcony which overlooked an alley way and directly into the balcony on the opposite building, and everything was covered in pigeon shit in between including the small table setting. The bathroom is between the balcony and the bedroom, and there is no curtain or blind to keep out any light, only a sheer privacy blind. This meant that at night there was way to keep out lights from other rooms which made sleeping difficult. The mattress was also incredibly hard. We did not sleep well here at all! When we went to check out we were given no assistance with any of our luggage. We asked to please order a taxi- they directed us to walk up the road. The beach is beautiful. White sand, not too many rocks, small waves. The pool area is nice but lacks shade which made the water warm to swim in. The breakfast was fine, nothing to write home about pretty stock standard. I honestly could not recommend anyone stay here based on the room we stayed in. We could have gotten a better and significantly cheaper room at a hostel.
Our beach bungalow (748) was zero to the beach! Was an amazing location. Beach lovely direct on Chewang Noi beach. Chewang beach is just 2 minutes walk away too! Grounds, gardened and beach all keep really well, it's a peaceful and relax place and vibe. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast ample to choose from. Rooms are out-dated and lack storage and hanging space, but clean, well kept & very comfortable bed and area. Best location I have ever stayed in, watched sunrise daily from our terrace on the beach. Quiet end of town, but not far if that's what you want.
