If you are looking for the definitive beach party experience, Ark Bar Beach Club is the absolute place to be. From the moment you walk in, the energy is unmatched and the vibe is completely electric. The absolute highlight of the night is the jaw-dropping fire show. The performers are incredibly talented, putting on a thrilling, high-energy spectacle right by the water that you can't take your eyes off of.
Place is nice. But we felt a bit of unfriendly service- maybe we are brown and they think we are from India (given the current situation with Indian Travellers). At the bar to use the pool they put a tag on your arm. We got the tags, I went to the pool and wanted to order a cocktail at the pool bar. The lady asked are you paying? (Not sure how she would expect me to pay while in the pool, given that we were already in the beach club and had ordered few drinks from main bar before getting in the pool). Then suddenly I saw some white guests went to the bar and ordered drinks right away after showing the green band, I was like what is going on. I went again and ordered- the lady gave the same answer (you pay now?) i showed my green band but she said there is no number. I was like what number. Apparently there were supposed to write my table number on the band which they didn’t when they placed the band around me. This small thing affected the whole experience and felt a bit of discrimination. Also staffs were not friendly. Once you finish drink they didn’t ask whether to top up or now- they asked are you finished. They were more focused to explain the prices. Also the Aperol Spritz I ordered tasted more watery than cocktail- I did mention less ice but glass came with full of ice.
ARKbar Beach Club on Koh Samui was very clean, spacious, and well maintained with a really nice overall setup. The music was good and created a relaxed but still lively atmosphere throughout the day. It was not overcrowded at all when we were there, which made it easy to enjoy everything without stress or noise. I spent the whole day chilling in the pool and just relaxing, which was exactly what I was looking for. The vibe is perfect if you like listening to music while you relax and enjoy the sun. If you prefer absolute silence and a very calm environment, then this might not be the right spot, but for a fun, easygoing beach club day it’s definitely a great choice.
I would like to share my wonderful experience at Ark Bar, specifically highlighting the exceptional service provided by Mew, the night receptionist. Mew is a true professional who is highly skilled and precise in everything he does. Throughout our stay, he demonstrated incredible patience and a welcoming attitude that made us feel right at home, even during the late hours. It is clear that he is very experienced; he handles every request with ease and reliability, making him someone you can truly count on. Having Mew at the front desk made our stay much more complete and stress-free. He is undoubtedly a valuable asset to Ark Bar, and his dedication to guest satisfaction is remarkable. If you are looking for top-tier hospitality, Mew is the person who makes it happen. Thank you for the fantastic service!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arkbar Hotel – An Amazing Experience! I stayed at Arkbar Hotel in Thailand and had an incredible experience. The service was outstanding – the staff was friendly, professional, and always available for anything I needed. The location is unbeatable – close to everything! Restaurants, nightlife, shops, and the beach are all within walking distance, making the stay extremely convenient and fun. I booked the large room facing the pool – it was spacious, comfortable, and the view created an amazing vibe throughout the day. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight – a DJ playing from 2:00 PM until 2:00 AM, with great music and an energetic vibe all day and night. The pool area also includes a pool table, and the pool itself is right by the beach – a perfect combination. It’s important for me to mention that I had several rooms at the hotel, but none were registered under my name – so I did not receive any special or preferential treatment. This reflects a genuine and unbiased experience. Overall – excellent service, perfect location, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I will definitely come back! 🔥🌴
