My experience at this hotel started with excellent service from the reception staff who escorted me to my room. The room was clean and spacious. There's a gym and a swimming pool. The food selection was quite varied, and the breakfast staff were particularly good. It's a pet-friendly hotel. I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family of four (2 adults and 2 children) had an outstanding stay at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui. From the moment we arrived, the staff delivered world-class service with genuine warmth and professionalism. Every team member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making our stay special. The breakfast was exceptional—easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we have experienced anywhere in the world. The restaurants were excellent, offering high-quality food and beautiful surroundings. We stayed in a room in the main building, which was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a family with two children. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with direct beach access, a stunning infinity pool, a great kids club, and plenty of family-friendly activities. We also booked the kids package, which included fun surprises and games throughout our stay and was a great addition to the vacation. The evening fire shows and beach performances created a wonderful atmosphere and became one of the highlights of our trip. The gym was also excellent—modern, well-equipped, and much better than what you typically find at a resort hotel. The club lounge was very good and offered a nice evening meal and refreshments, adding great value to our stay. What impressed us most was the hotel’s extraordinary awareness of celiac disease and gluten-free dining. The chef personally met with us and created a dedicated gluten-free menu for our children for the entire week. This level of care, attention, and personalization is extremely rare and made our vacation completely stress-free. The resort is also conveniently located close to the airport, making transfers quick and easy. We highly recommend Hyatt Regency Koh Samui for families, especially those traveling with children who require a gluten-free diet. This was a memorable stay, and we would happily return.
We had quite a good time in this hotel with the beautiful view and convenient location with excellent food, but I want to say that this hotel is good for families with kids as there are several opportunities for the children to enjoy, but I don't recommend it to couples or solo travelers as It is quite noisy seeing children all around. The pool was not super clean at some hours. We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights but the room was running down, every day we had a problem, one day with the electricity, one day with the water, one day with the sink. The breakfast was amazing but the service was sometimes slow.
Had a wonderful stay, the kids also had an amazing time. Food was excellent, and the pools were of great variety. Beach and pier had a lot more rocks than I would have liked but still enjoyable. Little note on the accessibility: although wonderful to move around with the golf carts and they’re always available, keep in mind when deciding to walk or try and get to some areas it can be a bit awkward to get there, and takes more time than usual
We just finished an amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui and honestly could not fault our experience. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was so warm, friendly and genuinely made us feel welcome. A special thank you to Danny from Yangna and Gig at reception. Both of you went above and beyond for us throughout our stay and your kindness and effort really made our trip extra special. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and always kept so clean. We booked through Luxury Escapes and the inclusions were fantastic, which made the whole experience even better. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and all of the food and drinks we had during our stay were consistently great. We truly had such a relaxing and memorable holiday and never had a single issue. Thank you to the whole Hyatt team for making our honeymoon so special.
