Air Bar Samui has a stunning view over the sea and islands, with a calm and elegant atmosphere, it is a beautiful spot for drinks, photos, and sunset time, especially if you want a relaxed evening in Koh Samui., truly feels like one of those places to see at least once in your life.
Drove from Chaweng to Air Bar to experience the famous sunset views. Unfortunately, heavy rain on the journey meant the drive took over an hour, and by the time we arrived the skies were still cloudy, so we didn’t get to see the sunset. Despite that, we were still very impressed. Parking is available at the InterContinental and the hotel provides buggy transport from the car park up to the bar, which is a nice touch. The service was excellent throughout, exactly what you would expect from InterContinental. We sat near the edge and enjoyed the fantastic views across the sea. My son had a fresh coconut, my daughter had a virgin strawberry daiquiri (which she said was excellent), and I had a Coke Zero. Total spend was around THB 800. Even without the sunset, the atmosphere and views were great. I would definitely recommend visiting, but try to choose a clear evening if possible.
