My stay at South Beach Inn, Thongkrut, Koh Samui was nothing short of exceptional. In a world where many places claim to offer a tropical paradise experience, this charming beachfront retreat genuinely delivers in every possible way. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine Thai hospitality, warm smiles, and a level of attentiveness from the staff that immediately made me feel less like a guest and more like part of an extended family. The location itself is absolutely outstanding. Nestled in the peaceful and authentic fishing village of Thongkrut, far away from the overcrowded tourist areas, South Beach Inn offers a rare glimpse into the traditional soul of Koh Samui. Waking up each morning to the sight of the calm ocean stretching out before you, with longtail boats gently swaying on the water and the neighbouring islands creating a spectacular backdrop, is something that simply never gets old. The views are breathtaking from sunrise to sunset, offering that perfect postcard scene that people travel halfway across the world to experience. The facilities throughout the property are excellent and thoughtfully maintained. Everything has been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The air-conditioning works flawlessly, keeping the room refreshingly cool even during the hottest Samui afternoons. The hotel is off the busy area, but we liked the quiet area. The room we stay was small. They offer a bigger one, but the bathroom was outside and we choose the smaller one. All rooms were very clean and Atom ( front desk) was super. Very helpful and he gave us fresh juice and cold tower when we checked in. I definitely recommend this little hotel.
We stayed at the South Beach Inn for 6 nights, one of the best hotels my partner and I have stayed at. The staff are so lovely, the hotel is very clean. You are greeted with a cold towel and a slushy on arrival. Really recommend!
If you got tired of the Chewang vibe of the island this is the place to stay. It's a quiet neighborhood, even though the hotel is located right on the road it's extremely quiet in the evening. It also has its own beach which was really nice. The room was well maintained and super clean. Loved the linen material of the bedsheets 😅, they were very comfortable. The staff were very kind and extremely helpful. Especial thanks to Kevin and Atom! Highly recommend this place.
Absolutely loved it here! Beautiful quiet spot, right on the beach, next to the pier that takes you out to pig island etc. A 7/11 just down the road for anything you might need. The restaurant attached had great burgers, perfect to switch it up a bit. The rooms were clean and fresh, a good amount of space and right next to the deck. Staff were super friendly and helpful during our stay, definitely will come back!
