This is a wonderful location, it was perfect for the stage my family including my wife and three teenage children were at in our holiday . We had enjoyed activity filled time in Bangkok and Chiang Mai and we were ready for relaxation. The standout of course are the staff just like most Thai people but these people like R, Diggy, Rain and others (sorry I can’t remember all their names were exceptional). It is a small complex but perfectly sized for the number of guests and the two pool areas provide privacy and luxury which you would normally only get with your own villa. The food menu is excellent and all the food we all ate was delicious and well presented. I’m sure I could say more but want to show my appreciation.
Our stay at this small vacation resort was arranged by a travel agency that put together a custom vacation for us. It turned out to be an excellent choice. We stayed in two villas with private pools. Even though the weather forecast isn’t usually ideal for this time of year, Koh Samui—and especially the southern part of the island—is a welcome exception. The weather couldn’t have been better: mostly sunny, with pleasant temperatures of around 30 °C. The attentive and friendly staff looked after us throughout our stay. The spacious rooms were kept spotlessly clean, as was the pool, and the regular menu was complemented by themed evenings such as BBQ nights and steak nights. I don’t know if it was because it was the off-season, but even though we occasionally met other hotel guests, most of the time it felt as if the staff was there just for us. It’s also great that breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. It gets light very early here, and despite our packed schedule, we always had enough time to enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading out on our early morning excursions. The food at the hotel was excellent, and although there were the occasional minor imperfections, nothing was significant enough to detract from our stay. After twelve wonderful days on Koh Samui, we’re leaving a place that has truly found a special place in our hearts, and we sincerely hope we’ll have the opportunity to return someday.
We enjoyed the warm hospitality from reception to trainer to waiters for our stay in this beautiful resort. Special mention to K. Beam, K. Pekky, K, Panini, K. Diggy and K. Nick. Our heartfelt thanks for taking care of us during our stay here. You made our holiday even more memorable and we hope to see all of you soon. Our room is beautiful but however one of the gate was damaged and drop off. Lucky no injury as the gate was quite heavy. Location is definitely not that convenient but if you are looking to a quiet getaway with beautiful people to serve you and nice food, I would highly recommend this resort.
We had a pleasant stay at Avani+ Samui Resort, and the true highlight of this hotel was definitely the staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, welcoming, caring, and genuinely amazing. They really elevated the entire experience and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The room itself was beautiful, modern, and comfortable, with great amenities around the property. Since we stayed for 5 nights and unfortunately had rain almost nonstop for 4 of those days, we ended up spending a lot of time enjoying the pool, gym, and the pool/ping pong tables, which helped keep us entertained. That said, there are definitely areas that need improvement, especially for a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star resort. The shower pressure was inconsistent and quite weak, making it difficult to properly wash shampoo and conditioner out of our hair. The fixed shower head was also leaking and spraying water everywhere, so we mostly relied on the detachable shower head instead. The biggest disappointment was the food. We would strongly recommend skipping the breakfast, as it was very underwhelming the few times we tried it. The hotel restaurant in general was overpriced and unfortunately the food quality did not match the prices ( a bad cold cheeseburger and club sandwich were 1000 THB). After our first few meals, we ended up eating elsewhere for the rest of the trip. Do yourself a favor and drive 10–20 minutes to enjoy amazing local restaurants with far better food and prices. Overall, this felt more like a solid 4-star hotel rather than a true 5-star experience, but the exceptional staff really made the stay worthwhile.
