Hidden gem! After having spent 2 weeks in the area and having tried almost every restaurant nearby, we found the food to be the best here. Plus very nice owner with good service. Definitely worth a visit!
This isn't just a bar, its also a great restaurant. We had a lovely lunch and dinner here and we really enjoyed it. The food was awesome. Good range of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Great value. Check it out if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back. 🙏
A very cute, inconspicuous place; we spotted it by chance on the way. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The tom yum is delicious, spicy, with coconut milk. Excellent spicy broth, good tomatoes, but I would have liked more liquid. The panang curry is also wonderful. We can come back again, it was delicious!
Don't really know what's going on here to be honest. Think they were busier than usual but still one of the stranger restaurant experiences we've had. We ordered 3 dishes. 1 was right dish but the smaller steam rice version. 1 wrong dish that just tasted like MSG and was also the smaller steam rice version. Third dish was completely wrong, didn't know what it was. We did get this one swapped (We had wanted a fried rice hence why getting so much rice was particularly annoying) and eventually a fried rice did come but it came in the form of a half filled plastic take away container for some reason. Weird one for sure.
V Bar and Friends was a highlight of our trip to Thailand. The drinks, service, and atmosphere are incredible, and we went every evening when staying in Samui. I can’t recommend this place enough, and we will be back on future trips. Thank you to V Bar for their hospitality, and for making our time so special! A paradise ❤️
