Your experience begins with a warm welcome and a refreshing drink, followed by an introduction to Samui Elephant Home and their commitment to ethical elephant welfare. You’ll learn about the importance of elephants in Thailand and essential safety guidelines for respectful interaction.
Assist experienced mahouts in preparing nutritious supplementary food using natural ingredients. You will also create seed bombs from clay and native seeds to support forest restoration and future elephant food sources.
Offer food to the elephants under guidance, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing. Then walk alongside them into the jungle, observing natural behaviors like foraging and mud bathing.
Participate in conservation by using a traditional slingshot to launch seed bombs into the forest. Afterward, watch the elephants cool down in a large pool and help gently splash water to relax them, respecting their natural choices.
