Step 1: Ferry from Koh Samui to Mainland (Donsak Pier)
Depart from either Nathon Pier or Lipa Noi Pier on Koh Samui for a ferry crossing lasting approximately 1.5 hours. The ferry offers comfortable indoor seating and occasionally small cafés onboard as you travel across the Gulf of Thailand to Donsak Pier.
Step 2: Van or Bus Transfer from Donsak to Phuket
Upon arrival at Donsak Pier, an air-conditioned van or bus will pick you up for the onward journey to Phuket. The road trip takes 4 to 5 hours and passes through southern Thailand's palm plantations, limestone cliffs, and coastal landscapes. The vehicle may make short rest stops for restroom breaks and snacks. Vehicle changes may occur to ensure a seamless transfer to your final destination.
