Start at the Big Buddha Temple, one of Samui’s most recognized landmarks, featuring a 50-foot Lord Buddha statue on Koh Fann island’s hilltop. Climb the steps to the main gallery for views over the surrounding area.
Next, visit Plai Laem Temple, a century-old functioning temple with a white 18-arm Guanyin statue representing mercy and compassion. Observe local devotees and feed the fish in the temple pond by donation.
