Hit and miss. The place is nice. Good facilities and well maintained. 'Deluxe villa's' are not deluxe though. That's a misleading statement. They're rooms in a row where you can see the room of the person opposite (or two) and other people can look into your room otw to the restaurant or beach. The bathrooms have open sections and are really hot. They're spacious and nice, but NOT "deluxe villa's". The breakfast is really good and the breakfast service was great, but in the afternoon (when we were having a drink) the staff disappeared. Checking in was also disappointing. We got there early and put our bags in storage but they said they'd call us when our rooms are ready. Came here on our own with no call at 1.30pm and the rooms were ready but we'd not received the promised call. Went out at 9am on Sunday and left the "please clean my room" sign out and came back at 4pm and still not done. Same for everyone in our section of the hotel. Hit and miss.
We initially booked a different hotel in Samui but, the day before our arrival, we decided to explore other options. We stumbled upon Casa de Mar, a charming hotel nestled close to the heart of the island. Its natural vibe was instantly appealing, and we opted for a villa with a private pool, complete with everything we needed. The value for money was impeccable. The room was immaculately clean, spacious and quiet, thanks to its beachfront location. Stunning views and friendly staff made our stay truly memorable.
Had a great stay at Casa De Mar. Beautiful beachfront hotel with a very convenient location. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Win and Min from housekeeping they were very professional and kept my room very clean. The breakfast buffet was also very good, and the staff in the breakfast restaurant were all really kind and attentive. Really happy with the hospitality and would definitely stay here again!
Had a wonderful stay at Casa De Mar, Koh Samui 🌴✨ Beautiful beachfront location, relaxing vibe, clean rooms, and a perfect balance between peaceful stay and easy access to Chaweng. The entire team was warm and welcoming throughout our trip. A special mention to Rerng at breakfast — probably the most smiling person in Koh Samui 😊 Every single morning he greeted everyone with such genuine warmth and positive energy that it instantly made the day better. Service like that cannot be trained… it comes from the heart ❤️ Thank you Casa De Mar and especially Rerng for making our family holiday even more memorable. We will definitely be back 🙏
Had an amazing stay at Casa De Mar, perfect location to be close enough but also far enough away from town to relax! Staff were all amazing, remembered us and our orders, very attentive, great breakfast buffett. Jinny looked after our rooms like a gem and kept us clean, comfortable and relaxed 😀
