Directions to Choeng Mon Beach
10 minutes north of Chaweng is the beautiful little beach we call Choeng Mon.
With its relaxed vibe, pristine sand and calm clear waters, this beach is rated by many as the best on the island, expats frequent Choeng Mon regularly.
Compared to Chaweng, Choeng Mon is a small beach, the fronted land is at a premium and accommodation is mostly mid-range to high-end resorts with a few budget bungalows thrown in for good measure.
Although small, there are still plenty of places to have a drink or lunch right on the beach. Most restaurants have sun-beds for you to lie on and have drinks or lunch brought to you.
If you need a bit more than lazing on the beach there are water sports activities available. Why not take a kayak ride out to the nearby islet of Ko Farn Noi or enjoy another soothing massage on the beach.
