Great hotel. Really enjoyed our time there. Location is perfect, not in the middle of the madness but only a quick taxi to Chewang. Pool is lovely, the bungalow was great, right by the pool. Bar does close early but that wasnt too much of an issue. Quiet, and not noisy at night which was perfect. View is stunning day and night from the steps by the pool. Staff were friendly.
The property looks good in pictures, but the actual experience has quite a few gaps especially in service and convenience. Pros: • Spacious rooms with a huge balcony • Nice, Instagram-worthy pool view (though small in size) • Reception and room service staff were friendly and responsive • Quick response to maintenance issues (bathtub knob fixed promptly) • Umbrellas available if needed Cons: • Restaurant staff behavior was unfriendly, felt like they were doing us a big favour by serving breakfast, zero interactions with guests :-( • Bathtub water was often dirty big hygiene concern • Beach is not swimmable, which is a major downside • Location is quite far from Chaweng market and main beach • No nearby 7-Eleven or convenience stores • You’ll need to rely on Grab for almost everything • They don’t serve buffet, Breakfast Food is same everyday with a fixed set menu and fixed items can not reorder, not great for longer stays • No telephone in the room everything has to be requested via WhatsApp, which gets inconvenient Verdict: Good for aesthetics and room size, but falls short on basics like service consistency, food variety, and location convenience. Not ideal if you want easy access to markets, swimmable beaches, or a hassle-free stay. Price is not justifiable for the service you get :-(
