We stayed at Moon Cottage in Koh Samui for just one night during our trip and honestly, we wish we had booked for much longer! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful, private, and incredibly welcoming. The villa was spotless and beautifully designed, blending traditional Thai style with modern comforts. The bed was extremely comfortable, the space was generous, and having our own private pool and jacuzzi made it feel like a true luxury escape. Even in just one night, we were able to completely switch off and relax. The tropical garden setting adds to the charm — it feels like a secluded oasis, yet it’s still conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and the beach, giving you the perfect balance of tranquillity and accessibility. A special mention has to go to Alex, who manages the property. He was fantastic from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Even though our stay was short, he made sure everything was perfect and gave us some great recommendations even for our onwards journey. His hospitality really made a difference and elevated our experience. It’s rare to find somewhere that leaves such a strong impression in just one night, but Moon Cottage did exactly that. Next time, we’ll definitely be staying longer. Highly recommended for couples or anyone looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway in Koh Samui. 🌺
Good place to stay, especially if you have a scooter. The place is nice, we really like the pool! We also rented the scooter with the hotel and it was all good. In general, we had a really pleasant stay!
We absolutely loved staying here — it truly felt like our own little haven. The owners were incredibly accommodating and kind, which made the whole experience even better from start to finish. The swimming pool is amazing — honestly one of the highlights. Even though we had our own private jacuzzi (which we loved and used a lot), we still spent plenty of time at the shared pool because it was just that nice. Such a great balance between privacy and enjoying the common spaces. The location is another big win: super central yet very quiet, so you get the convenience without the noise. Within walking distance there’s a 7-Eleven, massage places, restaurants, and pretty much anything you’d want for a holiday, which made everything so easy. We also rented our scooter directly from the accommodation, which was super convenient and again handled so smoothly thanks to how accommodating the owners are. The room itself was lovely — comfortable bed, really nice bathroom, tasteful decoration, and we slept extremely well every night. Everything felt clean, calm, and thoughtfully done. Cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for somewhere comfortable, relaxing, well-located, and run by genuinely lovely people, this is it.
I would really recommend staying at Moon Cottage. Jacuzzi on the veranda is amazing late at night. Alexis (host) and his staff members are extremely friendly and very helpfull. Extremely neat rooms with white, silky sheets .... And lovely pool.
