I was very surprised by the high rating this hotel has achieved. We stayed in a beachfront villa. The room was nice, but it needs better maintenance. We had to change the sheets because they were not clean, and the drinking glasses in the room were dirty. There were visible spider webs in the window corners, indicating poor cleaning. The private pool was okay, but it did not feel very inviting, so we didn’t use it at all. The public pool was nice, but there were a lot of particles in the water, and there was a foul smell coming from the surrounding area. We even saw a stray dog bathing in the pool. The hotel should install gates to prevent dogs from wandering around the property. There was garbage lying beside the stairs leading down to the beach. The seating cushions and sunbeds were dirty. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Given the price, location, room, and facilities, I would not recommend this hotel.
We had a lovely stay at Humble Villas! The rooms were well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond in ensuring that we were well-taken care of and checked in with us frequently. Each morning, we looked forward to having breakfast at the seaside cafe. There were a wide variety of breakfast options, all prepared lovingly by the wonderful kitchen staff. Our favourites were the fresh fruit juices and the tofu massaman curry with roti! Nearby restaurants are a short walk away. Our relaxing and tranquil stay is a memory we will never forget! Khobkhun ka! 🙏🏼
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Humble Villas in Koh Samui! We would especially like to highlight the incredibly friendly and attentive staff – both at the reception and during breakfast service. From the very first moment, you feel welcomed and well taken care of. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The small private pool was a real highlight – perfect for cooling off and simply relaxing. The breakfast was also delicious and prepared with great care. Another big plus is the scooter rental service as well as the reliable taxi service, which makes exploring the island very convenient. All in all, a clear recommendation – we would definitely come back anytime!
Everything was perfect expect the noise coming from the nearby road. The people and service were perfect. The room is perfect. The breakfast is perfect. It is very easy to have a scooter delivered there. But… the upper rooms are very noisy, we were in room 3 and we could hear the cars and scooters passing. I had to sleep with eat plugs all the time. So my advice ask for any room but not rooms 1,2,3 and 4, as they are noisy.
