Outstanding food, are here a couple times while visiting Samui. Papaya Salad & Pho were delicious. Service is very good, attentive and staff is kind! Cozy spot with a variety menu, loved it.
We were looking for an alternative to a purely Thai restaurant and came across Mekong. The ambiance is upscale but not overly pretentious. As the name suggests, they offer a unique fusion of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, with a touch of Myanmar. The dishes are beautifully presented and of very high quality...😋🙏 The slightly higher prices are definitely justified. Many thanks to the whole team for a wonderful time!🙏😊
I came to this restaurant on a Wednesday late afternoon around 5pm. It was very quiet just a few people around the pool. I had such a lovely experience. The space has a beautiful relaxed lounge vibe — warm lighting, natural wood and bamboo details, and a really calm, welcoming atmosphere. It feels very comfortable. I read a few negative reviews about the service, that was not my experience at all the service was excellent — attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely friendly. The menu has great variety, both thai and Vietnamese dishes and a large drinks menu and full bar. I went with the special pho which was especially good — rich broth, fresh herbs, and perfectly balanced. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed but quality dining experience in Koh Samui. I will happily return.
We were introduced to this restaurant by Pink House, and we are incredibly grateful for the recommendation. The location is simply stunning: beautiful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, and set in the middle of a true jungle oasis that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The service was exceptionally friendly, warm, and attentive without ever feeling forced. The food was outstanding — creative fusion cuisine at a very high level, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. This is one of those places you don’t discover by chance but will definitely remember. Highly recommended — we will most certainly be back.
Amazing Viet food at Mekong Fusion! The tea leaf salad (in rice sheet), the fried spring rolls and Cashew nut curry were fantastic! Great variety of dishes and delicious vegetarian/vegan options too! We had a great chat with the French manager as well who was very nice and friendly! Easily one of the best restaurants in Koh Samui, we definitely recommend - would be getting a lot more attention if it was on one of the busier neighbourhoods of the island!
