Our favourite meals in Koh Samui! We usually like to try lots of different places when on holiday so rarely eat in the same place. However this place deserved a second visit as it had delicious food at reasonable prices, and air conditioning inside which was a godsend when enjoying lovely hot soupy curries :)
Loved this place. Amazing food every time, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. Discovered on our 3rd day of holiday and returned almost every day after for lunch or dinner. Far better food than we had in Fisherman’s village restaurants, and very close to our hotel.
I came here 2 times and everything I tried was really tasty and fresh. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to eat happily without scaring food poisoning etc. All the servers are very friendly and kind. Tasty, affordable, healthy!
We had such a great experience at Mr Kai Kitchen in Koh Samui! From the moment the food arrived, you could tell care and quality were a priority. We ordered the chicken pad Thai, chicken satay, and cheesy potato balls, and every single dish exceeded expectations. The pad Thai was perfectly balanced in flavor, not too sweet, not too sour, just right. The chicken satay was tender, juicy, and paired beautifully with a rich, flavorful peanut sauce. The potato balls with cheese were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a really nice comfort-style side dish. What stood out the most was the quality of the chicken it tasted incredibly fresh, which honestly makes a huge difference and is something you don’t always get everywhere. You can tell they use good ingredients. To finish, we had the fried banana balls, and they were the perfect ending: warm, slightly crispy, and just sweet enough without being too heavy. Overall, a fantastic meal with great flavors and fresh ingredients. If you’re in Koh Samui and looking for a reliable, tasty spot, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’d happily come back again!
This was probably the best meal and service of our entire 3 weeks in Thailand. Jom was our waiter and she answered every question and was very knowledgeable and attentive. There is a great selection of dishes and all cooked fresh in front of you. The seafood was the freshest We’ve tasted and the beef in the massaman was big chunks rather than the tiny slivers normally found. We couldn’t rate this place highly enough and our only regret is that we discovered it on our last night. Otherwise we would have been back.
