Fisherman's Village Walking Street

Kohsamui

Walking Streets Attractions Activities Things To Do

Fisherman's Village is a little picture postcard, beachside area with a French twist. Every Friday night the main thorough fair is blocked off to vehicle traffic, making way for the street to come alive with stalls selling everything from coconut carved monkeys to 50 Baht Mojitos.

As you make your way along the street there's Thai food delights to try, buy and eat as you browse through scented soaps, Thai wine, clothes and antiques.

If crispy grasshopper is a bit too much for your unaccustomed palate there are plenty of other foods to enjoy including Western fare.

There really is a buzzing atmosphere about the place, one of our favorite things to do is get a good table at one of the bars at the lower east end of the street and kick back with a well earned Friday cocktail while live music accompanies our people watching!

Fisherman's Village Walking Street is on Friday night, and can be found off the ring road at the Chaweng end of Bo Phut.
