We came here two times to eat, because it was very delicious and the customers are so friendly, that we really liked going there. Fair prices also! We could recommend 10 out of 10.
Very simple restaurant, but the food is really good. All six dishes we ordered were authentic Thai and not westernized. The 1-star reviews above are a bit unfair — instead of leaving such a rating, it would be better to simply not return. But there will always be people who complain. We really enjoyed the food. The first time I visited, I ordered the crab omelette, fried chicken wings, and shrimp tom yum. I waited almost an hour for the food, though the restaurant was completely full at the time, so it was understandable. When the dishes finally arrived, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, one of the chicken wings was undercooked inside, which was disappointing because the rest were crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The crab omelette had quite a few tiny bits of shell, making it troublesome to eat, and it was not very flavorful. It tasted more like a plain omelette. The Thai tea also tasted slightly stale. After that experience, I honestly did not plan to return. However, I eventually decided to give it another try, and I am glad I did. The second time, the restaurant was not too busy, and all the dishes arrived quickly and freshly cooked. I ordered the garlic shrimp, garlic chicken, shrimp tom yum, and a plain omelette, which was much better than the crab version because it was crispier and more flavorful. I also ordered som tum, or papaya salad. Everything was delicious. The fried chicken stood out in particular. It was a very tender, moist, and incredibly flavorful pieces of sliced chicken breast fried with piece of garlic. They offer an extensive menu with authentic flavors, and the location is very convenient, especially since it is close to the jetty port. Despite my first experience, I would still recommend giving this restaurant a try.
We arrived at lunchtime, it was quite crowded and we had to wait quite a while (about 20 minutes). But in return, the food was absolutely amazing, we had absolutely no complaints.
We went to this restaurant twice, and I wish we had discovered it on Google Maps earlier, not right before leaving for Pattaya. My favourite Tom Yum with shrimp ever! The crab omelette was delicious, although the crab wasn’t cleaned perfectly — there were some shell pieces left, so it was a bit tricky to eat. But there was plenty of crab! The coconuts were amazing — big, sweet, and honestly the best I’ve tried in six trips to Thailand. Grilled prawns were fantastic, and the mango sticky rice was just perfect. The food is definitely 5+. Super friendly staff and truly tasty Thai food. Totally recommend this place!
