We went here for a little while ago as it is local to us, not far from where we are. We had a chance to meet the owner as well. The food was very good, considering we are not in Italy. We ordered a few pastas and pizzas. For got to take many photos. The food was very good. The restaurant is located on the beach, great views.
Surprisingly good beef carpaccio! Impressed by this. Perfect cheese and copious amount of rockets on top. The beef is sliced a little thicker than my preferences but that’s just that. Dad chose this place but I was in no mood for pizza. He liked his but it was not with my kind of toppings so I cannot comment. Worth coming even for those not looking for pizzas.
Nice welcoming service. Beach front restaurant. The pizza crust was thin and crisp but the cheese topping was very poor for a 4-cheese pizza. The gnocchi was gummy. The mango shake was like mango blend with water. Tasteless.
Service was friendly and it was nice sitting on the beach. But the pizza we had was not my cup of tea. We did come here because we saw the pizza oven which was nice (way out here in Thong Krut). The sign did say Italiano tipico, but my hopes were subdued - this is Thailand after all. When the pizza came out, my thoughts were right. For us, not our cup of tea. A bit bland, not a huge amount of cheese, and the choice of vegetables on the vegetarian pizza was not ideal. The thai dishes were fine but not mind blowing. This may be a good place for the kids if they tire of thai food but for others....
