Been 3 times now so far on our trip and each time the food is amazing. Feels so special to be taken care of by the staff so much, and see their smiling faces. The food portions are huge, and well worth the money. A local Thai gem. Highly recommended! P.S the pad Thai and chicken rice is both amazing
Found this place by chance, we were driving from Lamai back to Chaweng and stopped for dinner, so glad we did. Real authentic Thai food, reminded of the way Koh Samui used to be. We ordered Vegetarian Spring rolls, Papaya Salad, Pineapple chicken fried rice, green chicken curry and a seafood fried rice, along with a couple of milkshakes. Everything was so tasty, some pictures attached. Highly recommend stopping here, and the prices are old Thai prices as well, our total bill was just over THB700.
I've been there 5 times in 3 days, and took a different meal each time, but they are all consistently delicious, fresh, and copious. They're always served by the same two ladies who are very kind. Plus, it’s quite affordable for the portion sizes; I eat a lot, and I even have trouble finishing some plates. Highly recommend.
Amazing and sooo delicious! Great, fair prices too! We got the stir fried cashew chicken, stir fried beef in oyster sauce, the papaya salad, and margaritas! Everything was fantastic but the cashew chicken was absolutely to die for. The workers were so sweet and welcoming as well. Great experience, would recommend!
We arrived at this restaurant by chance during a trip around Lamai. We were quite hungry and had no special expectations. Only when we got there did we notice the large number of positive reviews - and after the meal we completely understood why. This is real, authentic Thai food that is both delicious and satisfying. The portions were surprisingly large. We are used to ordering food in Chaweng and getting relatively small portions while paying two or three times- more, but here it was exactly the opposite – very generous portions at a very reasonable price. For example, a fresh young coconut cost only 60 baht and it was huge. In Chaweng the same thing usually costs at least 100-120 baht. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The Pad See Ew was excellent and honestly one portion could easily be enough for two people. The papaya salad was also very fresh and perfectly balanced. In fact, we ordered too much food and unfortunately left some on the plate simply because we didn’t realize how big the portions were. The service we received was the best we’ve experienced so far in Koh Samui - friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai food, great portions, and fair prices in the Lamai area.
