Baan Ya Jai felt like a really genuine Thai dining experience. I liked that the spice level could be adjusted, and even at a normal Thai level the food had plenty of flavor. It also has that warm, family-run feel that makes the meal more memorable. I’d happily come back next time I’m in the area.
The best we had! If you want to eat authentic thai food, this is the perfect place. We ate here more than once, everytime we had a blast! The curry, the pad thai and anything with sea food is highly recommended. Also the staff is super nice, you really feel a very positive vibe around all people. Go here, you will love it!
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this Thai restaurant on Koh Samui, and I can’t recommend it enough. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was bursting with authentic flavors, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was both elegant and welcoming. It’s easily one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten at, and I’ll absolutely be back!
Delicious food, great atmosphere and lovely staff! Very authentic food available and spice level can be adjusted. Also almost all dishes can be made vegetarian. Ate more then once here during our stay in Koh Samui.
We absolutely loved Baan Ya Jai! The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. There are so many tasty options on the menu that it’s hard to choose! Our favorites were the Massaman curry, red curry, mango sticky rice, and papaya salad. All full of amazing flavors. We enjoyed it so much that we came back several times during our stay. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Koh Samui!
