This place was recommended to us by Boom, Boss and Donut over at Tiki Box. It's a lovely bar and restaurant directly on the beach. The vibe is chilled and the view is beautiful. We ordered the river prawns, crab rolls and a green papaya salad. The prawns were sweet and succulent, served with two dipping sauces. The crab rolls were stuffed full of meat, and the papaya salad was fiery with chilli but perfectly balanced with sweet and sour overtones too. Ah looked after us brilliantly as well. We finished our food just in time for the fire show, then ordered the most amazing mango sticky rice afterwards. I'd definitely recommend this place. Fantastic food, superb cocktails and perfect service. All overlooking that beautiful view too. What's not to like!
Maybe my favourite restaurant in the world. I love a beach side seafood restaurant, and Moonrise does it better than anywhere. Over my 5 day stay, I was here almost everyday, and the staff were so hospitable and the food is some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the red curry with the fish of the day!
This is the best restaurant in Koh Samui! The food is ABSOLUTELY amazing like genuinely some of best food I’ve had. It’s so fresh, made to order, staff are amazing and so sweet. The night dinners on the beach are sooooo well done. 1000/10 recommend.
Highly recommend this place. Everything we ordered was tasty, particularly the spicy beef salad and the deep-fried fish with green mango salad. The service was top-notch; the staff were welcoming, kept the table clean, and were very helpful with the menu.
I am looking for nice dinner for solo traveller. Got the ads in Ubox Hostel Samui about this restaurant. Enjoy my dinner which basically same-same for two nights just add extra tonight Crab Cake and Mango Sticky Rice. Really enjoy it. Definitely will comeback to try other dishes with friend and family. *actually missed the lunch offer the one wanted to try. *if your solo traveller stay at Ubox Hostel Samui get their 20% discount.
