This place is something - starting from the location itself to the owners that treat you like family. The place has chill vibe, amazing garden you can explore freely. And what is amazing - everything is organic, they use a lot of things right from their garden - like cut the mint for the lemonade from the pot. And the way they treat us made my heart melt 🤍 very kind, easy going and open hearted. We came for food and then came back for the cooking class - which is 1000000% with it. It is very well organized, Kanya is very easy going and nice, explained a lot, taught us a lot and we genuinely had fun, not to mention the amazing food we cooked together (and it was a lot so we even took half of it home). Will be coming back here for sure!
Incredible place, Mr. Dee was super hospitable, it actually felt like walking into your own private eden, I think its the only place you can get a massage, a tattoo and 10/10 food and learn how to cook by mr.dee. They grow alot of the ingredients they cook, so believe me when I tell you the food tastes amazing. And you can explore their garden, its great
We had a satisfying lunch here before heading to the waterfall (not much water, unfortunately!) but the lunch and atmosphere of this restaurant was very special🪷. Had banana shake and it was very delicious. The owner of this place (also a cooking school) also kindly drove us back to the hotel as we couldn’t book a driver to pick us up at this remote location
Wow!! One word!! Owners are everything you can imagine, friendly, became a good friends. Food is absolutely most delicious, hospitality, garden and the view is one of a kind. My girlfriend Kanya work there as a Cooking Class teacher and we spend a lot of time there. I recommend for EVERYONE to at least visit the place, you will keep that memory for the rest of your life, no doubt!
A fantastic cooking class and a real highlight of our trip to Koh Samui. What makes Mr Dee’s special is the beautiful garden/jungle tour where many of the fresh ingredients are grown — it adds so much authenticity and makes the experience feel truly local. Our chef and teacher Kenya was amazing: warm, knowledgeable, and great fun, with clear explanations that made everything easy to follow. The food was delicious, the setting was peaceful, and the whole experience felt thoughtful and memorable. Highly recommended if you want a cooking class that’s a bit different.
