Had a wonderful dining experience at 2 Fishes. The atmosphere was absolutely great — cozy, lively, and perfect for a relaxing evening out. The food was also very good, with every dish well prepared and enjoyable. We arrived around 6:00pm without a reservation and were informed that the table was only available until 7:30pm. Although it felt a little rushed trying to finish everything within the time limit, the staff handled it professionally and we managed to leave before 7:30pm as requested. The only downside was that we didn’t really get the chance to fully enjoy the wine because of the limited dining time. Nevertheless, it was still a pleasant experience overall and definitely a place worth visiting for the food and atmosphere.
Nice spot on the water, great views. Lots of Italian inspo and the focus is on sea food. The thai dishes are great, steamed gold snapper was great. The lobster spaghetti also very good. Surprisingly excellent tacos for starters too, quite big too.
My boyfriend and I have been here many times, and we’ll definitely keep coming back—he absolutely loves the tacos here. The seafood is always fresh and really high quality, which makes every visit worth it. As someone who’s a big fan of pasta, I’ve tried three different pasta dishes here and never once regretted it. Each one has been delicious. The wine list is also impressive—they have pretty much everything you could be looking for. And the cocktails are soooo good. The staff are friendly and welcoming, though they don’t always pay much attention. I’m sure this is something they’ll improve over time 💕Still, the food and drinks make up for it, and we’ll definitely be back again. #The food look good but i don't have still to take the food photo 😅
Outstanding service, excellent food for reasonable (european) prices. Got there around 18 o‘clock, got seated perfectly and enjoyed the amazing sunset overlooking the beach. Awesome experience! The food was outstanding: we ordered several starters, all where a 10/10. Local fish and the mushroom linguine as main, also 10/10. Desserts we’re a 11/10, heavenly. Outstanding service as well! Staff super alert but not pushy, the 2 customer managers very kind and hanging around for some smalltalk. It was as thoroughly rewarding experience. We will come again when we‘re back on Samui. Thank you so much for that perfect evening and dining experience!
2 Fishes Samui was absolutely impressive. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious—every signature dish we tried was excellent and clearly well-crafted. The Guazzetto di Cozze, Vongole e Fregola and the Eagliolini Blue Crab Meat were both outstanding—rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and truly memorable. I was especially impressed with the desserts. The tiramisu and crème brûlée were both exceptional—rich, well-balanced, and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended if you’re in Samui 🤍
