While my family and I were walking around Central Samui this evening, I started getting hungry. I opened Google Maps to look for a good place to eat and Island Kitchen caught my eye. Turns out, I made the right choice! Since my daughter is absolutely crazy about pizza, the staff recommended their signature pizza. I trusted their recommendation and ordered it—I think it was called the "Home Samui Pizza." It was made with bacon and bell peppers. My wife had the Red Snapper BBQ and Onion Rings, and they suited our palates perfectly. As for me, I had the Lamb Chop (300g). The food was honestly not bad at all—it was delicious! The service was also wonderful; the warm smiles from the waiters and waitresses gave us that true feeling of relaxation. In conclusion, it’s a restaurant where everything went absolutely perfect for us. We will definitely come back if we get the chance!
The island restaurant. The atmosphere was moderately quiet there was enough people in there but still able to talk. They were playing sports and the fight on the TV but with no volume which was nice as you could talk to people around you. For starter I ordered the smoked salmon ricotta. When this arrived it looked completely different to the picture and was grilled/melted hot cheese, with salmon fillet pieces ontop (not smoked) I was disappointed although the food was good I was not told or had the chance to change my order. The main was a massaman curry without peanuts. The curry was very tasty and a good size portion. The rice was extra but only 30 baht which in total was 170 which isn’t expensive at all. My overall experience was good the servers were polite and cleared the table in a timely manner. Although the issues I have with the starter. I would visit this restaurant again.
Located right at the Chaweng Beach Road, Island Kitchen is a must try restaurant. We loved the roadside seating arrangement - enjoy the street vibe while having a soulful meal. Must try dishes: Steamed red snapper in lime and chilly sauce and Thai green curry (chicken). Our table hosts Nyo Nyo and Yair Lynn Kyaw were excellent. Loved their hospitality. Very quick, and always had a smile on. 100 stars to them. 🫶🏻
Delicious food, fast service and incredibly friendly staff members! I recommend the pad thai, papaya salad, caprese salad and seafood pasta. We also received complimentary watermelon for dessert. :)
A truly excellent restaurant on Koh Samui. The dishes are very appetizing, and the portions are large and plentiful. The prices are very reasonable compared to others nearby.The service was top-notch. We received excellent service, and they asked if everything was okay. At the end, we were treated to watermelon. All in all, a positive experience.
