We had such a wonderful time visiting this restaurant! The food is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and both the atmosphere and the owner, Apolo, are fantastic! We highly recommend this place - we had the best time and can’t wait to visit again on our next trip!
Food quality was top notch, fresh seafood for everything that we ordered. Staff takes care of you like their very own, service was great with complementary fruits, a shot of alcohol (captain’s magic) as well as a birthday surprise when we didn’t even request for it. Amazing hospitality.
Amazing place. We came back 3 times during one week. The manager Apollo is very friendly and has a lot of knowledge, he explained about the seafood & fish and helped us choose the right dish. Definitely take the mussels with white wine sauce, grilled oysters with garlic pepper, and the red curry crab :)
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this seafood restaurant, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the shrimp — it was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. What made the visit even better was the outstanding service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire meal. They made me feel welcome and ensured everything was just right. If you’re a seafood lover, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
If you are looking for a great place to enjoy fresh and well cooked seafood in Lamai area - The Captain is your safe bet! Great selection of various fresh seafood (beautifully displayed at the entrance) cooked both Thai and European style. The snapper cooked in lemongrass, lime, chilli and herbs stole the show! Absolute explosion of flavors. Apollo - the owner and face of the restaurant - is a lovely guy who will happily help you with the best choice of fresh catch and he and his team will make sure you have a great dinner in a busy but fun atmosphere.
