5/5 Stars – Stunning Views, Modern Vibes, and Delicious Fusion Cuisine! Cocoon in Koh Samui is an absolute gem perched right on top of a hill, offering a breathtaking nearly 360-degree view of almost the entire island. Even with a strong breeze on the day we visited, it was a welcome relief from Samui’s intense heat, making the atmosphere surprisingly comfortable and relaxing. The restaurant blends traditional Thai touches with a sleek, modern design tailored perfectly for a younger, trendy crowd. Literally every single corner is meticulously designed to be Instagram-worthy. The menu offers an incredible Thai-Western fusion twist on classic comfort foods, and every dish was super delicious and beautifully presented: Crab Omelet: Perfectly cooked and paired with a unique, flavor-packed Thai-European hybrid sauce. Eggs Benedict: Enhanced with aromatic local Thai spices that elevated the classic brunch standard. Pancakes: The ideal sweet treat to wrap up the meal. If you’re looking for high-end fusion food, chic design, and one of the best viewpoints on the island, Cocoon is a must-visit!
This place is wonderful. Within the restaurant there’s hilltop views and you can have an overlook of Koh Samui, the airport runway and the best place to soak in the vibes and enjoy the sunset! Great place to take photos! There was also a talented violinist which made everything else more romantic. Food was 10/10. We ordered the Pad Thai and Chicken Roulade, which were recommended and didn’t disappoint! The Cocoon shake and the Banofee pie is a must try as well! Hospitality was amazing and everybody was very polite and courteous.
If you’re looking for a restaurant with a breathtaking view in Koh Samui, this place is hard to beat. Perched on a hilltop, it offers an incredible 180° panoramic view of the island and the ocean beyond. The moment you arrive, you understand why it’s considered one of the most beautiful dining spots on the island. We visited in the morning, so only the breakfast menu was available. While the options were limited compared to their full menu, the food was delicious, well-presented, and definitely lived up to expectations. The entire space is thoughtfully designed, aesthetic, and perfect for anyone who appreciates beautiful surroundings and great photo opportunities. The restaurant is on the pricier side—we spent around 4,000 THB for four people—but in our opinion, you’re paying not just for the food, but for the unforgettable atmosphere and the stunning views. If you love scenic locations, aesthetic cafés, and memorable dining experiences, this place deserves a spot on your Koh Samui itinerary
We had a wonderful dining experience here during our stay in Koh Samui 🌴 The views are absolutely stunning and definitely one of the highlights of the restaurant. I highly recommend making a reservation through their website. The booking process was very straightforward, and I genuinely think having a reservation helped us secure a better table with an amazing view. The service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Mex, who looked after us so well throughout the evening. He was warm, attentive, friendly, and genuinely made our experience even more enjoyable!! As for the food, everything we tried was delicious. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the Massaman lamb curry was the standout dish for us - rich, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. A beautiful spot for a memorable sunset dinner in Koh Samui. Highly recommend!
This was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning scenery—the atmosphere is perfectly curated and provides a breathtaking backdrop for a meal. The food was phenomenal, with every dish arriving perfectly prepared and full of vibrant flavors. It is clear that the kitchen takes immense pride in their craft. What truly elevated our visit, however, was the exceptional service. Our server, Pan, was the absolute highlight of the evening. Pan was incredibly attentive, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask, and delivered everything with such genuine warmth and professionalism. It is rare to find service this personalized and seamless. She even took a ton of pictures for us in 3 different restaurant locations! She is the definition of an amazing server. If you are looking for a spot with a view, delicious cuisine, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, look no further. Ask for Pan-she is The best!
