Established in 1995, Blue Star Kayaking and Snorkeling Tours are one of the most experienced Marine Park tour operators on Koh Samui.

On day trips to Angthong National Marine Park you'll discover the natural beauty of the park, explore caves and tunnels by kayak. Snorkel the underwater world around these beautiful islands. The same islands that inspired the book and screen-play, 'The Beach'.

Tours depart daily from Koh Samui, beginning with a pick up service from your hotel between 7.15 and 7.30 am.

The 23 metre, fully equipped Blue Stars tour boat departs at 8.00 am from Nathon Pier on the northwest coast of the island arriving at Anthong Marine Park around 9.30 am.

On route, you will enjoy a light breakfast as you take in the beautiful surrounding scenery of Samui, Phangan and Angthong.

As you approach the Marine Park, your tour guide will give you a briefing on the day's activities of kayaking, snorkeling and sightseeing.

Blue Stars has 12 top of line fleet kayaks, manufactured by 'Ocean Kayaks'. The model used for excursions is the world's number one sit-on-top sea kayak, Malibu Two. All equipment is well maintained and of the highest quality for your paddling experience comfort and enjoyment.

Before you begin the kayaking part of your trip, your tour guide will give you an introduction on how to maneuver your kayak. Ocean Kayaks are easy to maneuver and no experience in kayaking is necessary to enjoy this part of the tour.

The kayaking tour begins at the southern end of the island Ko Mae Ko, eventually beaching on the sandy shores of the island.

Once ashore the sightseeing part of the adventure begins with a tour of the Green Lagoon or Emerald Lake, a hidden saltwater in the middle of the island.

Back to the boat and time for lunch, a buffet selection of delicious Thai dishes. While enjoying lunch the boat will take your through breath-taking scenery from Ko Mae Ko to the northern end of the Marine Park, with Ko Tai Plao the eventual destination for your second Kayaking tour.

Your tour guide will take you through natural tunnels, amazing caves and along beautiful rock formations.

Lastly an opportunity to experience the underwater world with snorkeling around Ko Tai Plao.

While enjoying the various activities on the tour, you'll witness countless deserted beaches, you might even be lucky enough to witness whale and dolphin pods or monkey troops on the islands.

Aside the scheduled activities, you'll have ample time to relax and just enjoy the scenery or waters around the boat.
