Bao Bao Asian Eatery
Koh Samui
Reseñas
Popping into this restaurant on our last day in Koh Samui turned out to be such a great decision. I hadn’t had proper Asian food (other than Thai cuisine) in quite a while, so the experience felt not only extra delicious but also genuinely interesting, finally getting to taste what these dishes are really supposed to taste like. And this place absolutely delivered. Everything we ordered was made with fresh ingredients, and even the burger buns were special, they were soft, light, and moist, unlike regular buns. I believe they were made from rice, which made them even more unique and enjoyable. The design of the restaurant deserves special mention too. It feels less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a friend’s beautiful and cozy living room. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and very relaxing. The staff were amazing as well, they helped us choose the dishes, the service was quick, and the presentation of the food deserves separate praise because everything looked beautiful. Already looking forward to coming back to Samui and having more meals at this hidden gem ✨
Food was excellent both in terms of taste and presentation (see photos). Outstanding service as well - Flo went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of, especially with our family member’s food allergies. Thank you!
Loved the food. Delicious and fresh. The only thing was that sweet potato fries were little too oily - also the aubergine. Loved the buns and gyoza, edamame and homemade kimchi. Clean place, interior could have more searing because the space is huge.
Beautiful building and styling. High end service and menu..food aesthic and tasty. Wish they had more options. Not a huge fan of bao buns but the place looked great so stopped. Lovely atmosphere park outside
A very nice place, beautiful interior, and very friendly service. The cafe has tables in the back patio surrounded by plants under the open sky. If you're going with a group, there are board games. I recommend getting the set of four bao for two. Be sure to try the mango with shrimp and the bao with tuna—my favorites. Overall, this place is a 10 out of 10. We went for both dinner and breakfast, and we loved it.
