We had a wonderful dinner at Mango Tree yesterday. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the dry fish curry and the duck curry. We have rarely eaten this well on Koh Samui, so we will definitely be coming back. The service was just as impressive. All the staff were very attentive and genuinely did their best to make us feel welcome. It was also the small details that made the experience special, such as bringing an extra chair for our bag without us even having to ask. A special thank you to Aey and Zaw, who looked after us so well and made every effort to ensure we had a great evening. Compliments to the whole team. Mango Tree is truly a little gem on the island.
Come here for the sunset and drinks. Decided to order some snacks. We ordered ceviche salmon and avocado. What we have is three-quarters of the potion filled with capsicums, a few pieces of salmon, and no sign of avocado 👀. I don’t think they know how to cook or even what ceviche is. Drinks are mediocre - just order some beer and enjoy the sunset. The view is nice, though.
We really enjoyed our visit to Mango Tree. It was a nice, quiet space to take in the beach/sunset views. Our children had space to explore the beach and loved the tyre swing. We were really impressed with the quality of food and the attention to detail (the chef even came out with the waiter while we ordered to check levels of spice). As we were eating, the staff checked in to make sure everything was ok. We enjoyed some of the curries as well as pad Thai noodles and cocktails. Highly recommend this place for a chilled out spot to view sunset.
What an unexpected gem! We got caught by the rainstorm, ended up at Mango Tree unexpectedly and it was such a treat. The staff was kind and efficient, making sure everyone was fed, dry and safe from the storm. We had a veggie tom yum soup and a grilled snapper and both were delicious. Very importantly, there was no loud music so we could hear the waves, rain and our thoughts .. rare around here haha I won’t hesitate to stop by for another meal when driving by next time.
The view is awesome. The drinks and food are fine. The coffee shop needs to be cleaned will and the furniture needs to be renewed
