This meal was wonderful! The chef and servers were so kind and made me feel so welcome in the restaurant. The setup is amazing in that you can see your dish being cooked feet away from you. The food is delicious and clearly fresh. The staff is incredible and there to make your experience better. Please come here!
The food was 10/10 - no remarks. The best pad Thai I’ve eaten and the duck was cooked to perfection. Based on the food you notice that the chef is not only a passionate chef but also someone who cares about healthy foods and great raw goods of high quality.
Thai Kitchen is not to be missed when you're in Lamai. After coming across the glowing reviews, I knew I had to try it and it truly exceeded every expectation. This place deserves a spot on the Michelin guide far more than some of the pricier, better-known restaurants on the island that already have one. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by the friendly owner and her attentive staff. She runs an open kitchen, cooking everything from scratch right in front of you. The ingredients are strikingly fresh (she actually slipped out to the market mid-service while I was there to restock) and the menu reflects that same care. Alongside the Thai classics, you'll find dishes you won't see anywhere else on the island, and everything is thoughtfully composed. It shows in the depth of flavor. I only wish I could come back more often!
Stopped in here for a quick lunch after reading numerous positive reviews. The place is basic local type but the food was really good. Everything is cooked from fresh right in front of your eyes. The lovely lady owner who does the cooking is amazing to watch as she works to create delicious meals. The portions were a good size so it was outstanding value for money. The place is right by the main road so there is traffic noise but that didn't bother us and I would happily go back as the food was so good. Not to be missed.
I’ve eaten at quite a few Michelin Guide spots around Thailand, and this restaurant easily competes with them, if not surpasses some. Every dish was incredibly delicious and packed with authentic flavors. Honestly, it feels like Michelin must have somehow missed this place. It’s a true hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
