Excellent food and excellent service on a lovely beach. Decided to go here based on the Michelin guide and it was the best food we’ve had on Koh Samui so far - all for 1080bhat including beer and soft drinks. Would love to go back!

Hidden gem right on the beach in Bang Por If you’re looking for something real — skip the tourist traps and come here. This small, family-run seafood restaurant sits directly on the beach in Bang Por, and it delivers exactly what Koh Samui used to be about before it got too polished. The food is the star. Don’t leave without trying the crab in black pepper sauce and the crab meat omelette — both outstanding, fresh, and full of flavour. The family couldn’t be more welcoming. Bonus points: they speak German, which was a lovely surprise. And keep an eye out for Vel, their dog — named after the Marvel — who completes the whole laid-back, homey atmosphere. Practical note for those who care: the toilets are clean, with proper soap at the sink. Small detail, big deal. This is the kind of place you stumble upon and then keep coming back to. Highly recommended if you want something relaxed, authentic, and genuinely good.
Went out for food last night here and really enjoyed it. They bring out crab pate with cucumber & green bean appetiser out which I've not seen before and tasted great! I had the Black Pepper crabs with rice and a vermicelli salad, both very good and cooked quickly. The crab was particularly good. Service very friendly and were happy to recommend a couple more dishes to try next time so I think I'll go back and order the seabass. Very reasonably priced and will definitely be visiting again thank you! 🙏
Can’t beat fresh seafood on peaceful BangPo beach! We visited several times during our week on Samui, and their large menu didn’t disappoint. Highlights: in-season fried fish with garlic, steamed in-season fish, gaeng som soup, grilled prawns. Thanks for the delicious food!
