It was a great romantic experience with my partner. We walked in without a reservation but were seated right in front of the beach, with a beautiful view of the sunset. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, the chef/owner even came out to talk to us about our dishes and shared a bit of his story. Each plate was perfectly flavorful, and we ended our dinner on a high note with a soft and delicious crème brûlée. We loved the place! Definitely recommend, please support this wonderful spot.
Increíble. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I cook in a Michelin star kitchen and have eaten steak all over the world from France to Argentina and I have never had Onglet so good. The au poivre sauce was delicate but rich - just amazing. The filet was fantastic as well. The appetizers, the creme brulee, the sunset, the chef… incredible. Food cooked with passion. 10 stars if I could.
Had the best pork chop in my life. When we entered, we were greeted and welcomed by staffs and owner who were more than happy to service us. All the food was delicious and high quality. Food arrived quickly. The toilets were super clean as well.
Im in love with Spanish food and culture, and I rarely leave reviews but after staying at 5star resort where the food was questionable, it was a great experience to come to EL BARRIL to feast with my family on the most flavoursome food we have had on the island. Even the French beef, and being Australian this is hard to say was 11 out of 10 Thankyou for the service and flavour burst in my mouth, oh and owner is the best chef.
Definitely excellent cuisine. The menu has something for every taste, the owner is a very charming and friendly Frenchman who hospitably and welcomingly explained everything, gave his recommendation, and personally prepared a fantastic steak. Bravo! I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it. By the way, the wines are also above average on the island
