Worth the hype! We had a lovely first meal in Koh Samui, arrived around 8pm and the restaurant was full, waited around 15 mins for a table which was great! Would recommend making a reservation to avoid queuing. Amazing food and lovely staff, we had the tempura calamari, red thai curry, chicken pad thai and chicken pad see ew, very affordable and would definitely recommend!
Food was amazing, the best so far I’ve had in all of Thailand. The Beef Panang curry was 15/10, if you can handle spice I recommend getting it “Thai spicy” as this gives you the true heat and flavours of an authentic panang. I could eat here every day! Massaman curry was also great 11/10 Prawn spring rolls were tasty. Dessert: we had the Banana Spring Roll & Banana Fritters, both were nice and soft I wish I came here earlier lol I be back again tomorrow
Gem in Lamai. Authentic Thai food reasonably priced in a cute garden setting. I ordered the fish cakes (yum) and the pad sew (can't remember the correct name the fat noodles lol). They cook to order so it's tasty and fresh/hot. As a solo diner being offered a single sized portion would have been nice not necessarily for the savings (helpful) but mainly food waste as I couldn't eat it all but would have liked to try a few different dishes. All in all worth eating here if you're in Lamai.
Food was really good with decent portions. Service was a bit slow at the start, even if the restaurant was basically empty (just us one other table). We waited about 15 minutes before someone came to take our drink order. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor.
One of the best meals of our six week trip. I booked a table via WhatsApp to celebrate my Wife's birthday and we had a great evening. There was a queue of people hoping to get a table so booking is advised. The inside of the restaurant is lovely and we were lucky enough to get a table right by the fish pond. We had a couple of cocktails, fried shrimps, chicken satay, whole steamed sea bass with chilli and lemon, chicken Panang curry, fried rice with vegetables and fried mixed veg. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable and therefore the total cost was very good value. The place was very busy but service was attentive without being rushed. A great experience and one that I would love to repeat.
