Claro, Engen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Red Moon was one of the culinary highlights of our trip to Koh Samui. Every dish was outstanding. The beef with truffle mashed potatoes was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The porcini ravioli with truffle was simply divine, with rich, comforting flavours, and the lamb served with fresh pasta was so good that it left us wanting more. What made the experience even more memorable was Gao, an exceptional host. He welcomed us warmly, guided us through the menu with genuine passion, and introduced us to authentic, intense flavours beautifully balanced with subtle Western influences. If you’re visiting Fisherman’s Village and looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Red Moon is an absolute must. We will definitely return on our next visit to Koh Samui.
I had an amazing dinner at Red Moon in Koh Samui. Every dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. You can really tell that great care goes into every plate. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a memorable evening. What made the experience even more special was the chef, who was incredibly welcoming and made us feel genuinely appreciated as guests. If you’re looking for outstanding food, a great ambiance, and wonderful hospitality in Koh Samui, I highly recommend Red Moon. I’ll definitely be coming back!
We discovered this restaurant last evening, as it is located at either the entrance or the exit, depending on your point of arrival. The cuisine was outstanding, and the owner was exceptionally courteous and friendly. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We initially ordered Thai dishes, but after our meal, he kindly offered us samples of his French culinary specialties, which were truly exceptional. Thank you once again for a memorable dining experience. We look forward to returning.
The owner/chef greet us with a big smile at the entrance. He was welcoming and made us feel like home straight away. The food was amazing. He made me on request the beef caparcio burrata full of flavor even half portion was enough. My husband got the deal of the day and had green seafood curry and was also super rich and delicious. We got free dessert (fried ice cream) and some drink for free as it was our honeymoon. Definetly one of the best experience we got in Koh Samui. If you are French the guy will chat with you all night, being from Nice himself. Go check it out
Incredible food and hospitality from start to finish. The chef personally came to our table, offered us samples before we ordered, and made the whole experience feel special. We let him plan our meal for us, and he absolutely nailed it. We started with beef carpaccio and a Burmese tea leaf salad, followed by the Kobe beef ribeye and lamb as the main. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. 10/10, highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back.
